What Grab Bar Installation Costs Here.

Most competitors make you call for a price. We publish ours. A single bar runs $235 for labor when you supply it. A full three bar bathroom, the most common job, runs $449 if you buy the bars or $535 if we supply them. Below is every package and what moves the number up or down.

If You Supply the Bars

You buy the grab bars yourself, we bring the tools, anchors, and labor. This is the lower rate on every package. Just confirm any bar you buy is a true grab bar rated for a 250 pound load.

  • Single bar: $235 labor only
  • Two bars: $299
  • Three bars: $449
  • Up to six bars: $699
  • Tile or stone: add $99 to $129 per bar
  • We confirm your bars meet the ADA standard before drilling

If We Supply the Bars

We bring ADA compliant bars along with the labor. Nothing for you to buy or research. Every bar we supply is rated for a 250 pound load and has no sharp edges.

  • Two bars: $361
  • Three bars: $535
  • Up to six bars: $850
  • Tile or stone: add $99 to $129 per bar
  • Bars sized and placed for the person using them
  • Styles that look like fixtures, not hospital equipment

Every Package, Both Ways.

Pick your bar count, decide whether you supply the bars, and book. The price is confirmed before we start.

★ Most customers choose the Full Safety Package. It covers the three highest risk locations in any bathroom, and the price is confirmed before we start, so there is no open tab.

Five Things That Move the Number.

Grab bar pricing is simple, but a handful of factors decide where you land in the range. Here is exactly what raises or lowers the cost so there are no surprises when we arrive.

  • Number of bars. The biggest driver. One bar is $235 labor, three is the common bathroom job, and up to six covers a large or dual fixture bathroom.
  • Tile versus drywall anchoring. Tile and stone add $99 to $129 per bar because they need carbide bits, slow drilling, and specific anchors. Standard drywall over studs has no surcharge.
  • Whether you supply the bars. Supplying your own bars lowers every package. It is the single easiest way to bring the total down.
  • ADA placement. Correct height of 33 to 36 inches and proper orientation at each fixture is included, but a bathroom that needs bars at several fixtures naturally needs more bars.
  • Wall backing. When studs sit where the bar needs to go, we anchor straight in. When they do not, we use rated toggle anchors, which is included and does not change the package price.

What Never Changes the Price

  • Stud finding and assessment, always included
  • The 250 lb load test on every bar, always included
  • Rated toggle anchors when studs are not aligned, included
  • Re-anchoring a bar that shifts during the test, no charge
  • A trip fee or assessment fee, we do not charge one

What Recent Jobs Actually Cost.

These are typical jobs and what the customer paid. Your total depends on bar count, wall type, and whether you supply the bars.

A single shower grab bar into a tile wall. The customer bought the bar on Amazon, so labor was $235 plus a $99 tile surcharge for a total of $334. In and out in about 40 minutes, tested at 250 pounds before we left.

A full bathroom for a parent coming home after surgery. Three ADA bars we supplied and installed, one on tile, so $535 plus one $99 tile surcharge for $634. Shower, tub entry, and toilet all covered in under two hours.

A daughter in Chicago bought three Moen bars for her mother and had us install them. Drywall over studs, no tile, so the Full Safety Package at the you supply rate of $449, flat. Photos of every finished bar sent after.

Cost Questions

How much does a single grab bar installation cost? +
A single grab bar is $235 for labor only when you supply the bar. That covers stud location, anchoring into studs or rated toggle anchors, and a 250 pound load test before we leave. A tile or stone surcharge of $99 to $129 applies if the bar goes into tile. The price is fixed, so there is no open hourly tab.
Does installing a grab bar on tile cost more? +
Yes. Tile and stone walls add a surcharge of $99 to $129 per bar. Tile requires a carbide or diamond tip drill bit, slower drilling speed, and correct anchor selection for the cavity behind the tile. The surcharge covers the extra care and specialized bits. We have not cracked a tile on a properly executed installation.
Do you supply the grab bars or do I buy them? +
You can do either. We supply ADA compliant bars in our packages, or you can buy your own Moen, Delta, or Kohler bars and we install them at a lower rate. The Starter Safety Package with 2 bars is $361 if we supply the bars or $299 if you supply them. The Full Safety Package with 3 bars is $535 if we supply or $449 if you supply. If you supply your own bars, we confirm they meet the 250 pound ADA standard before installing.
Is it cheaper if I buy the grab bars myself? +
Yes, supplying your own bars lowers the price on every package. The 2 bar Starter package drops from $361 to $299, the 3 bar Full Safety Package drops from $535 to $449, and the Premium package for up to 6 bars drops from $850 to $699. A single bar is labor only at $235 when you supply the bar. Just make sure any bar you buy is rated for a 250 pound load and is a true grab bar, not a decorative towel bar.
Do you have same week availability for grab bar installation? +
Yes. Same day scheduling is typically available across Fairfield County CT and Westchester NY, and same week is standard. Most single bar jobs take 20 to 45 minutes and a full 3 bar bathroom is done in under two hours. Call (475) 500-7126 or book online to lock in a slot.
